(June 8, 2017; Oakville, Calif.)—Napa Valley and Oakville-based Gamble Family Vineyards is pleased to announce the appointment of Epic Wines & Spirits as its exclusive distributor in California, effective today.

Founded in 1995, Epic Wines & Spirits is a distributor of fine wine, spirits, and craft beer from around the world. Epic Wines & Spirits distributes wine and spirits throughout the state of California, and offers a carefully compiled luxury portfolio of brands that have each been selected for quality, innovation, and respect for tradition. Epic Wines & Spirits plans to grow Gamble Family Vineyards’ presence in California, specifically in high-end restaurants and retailers, as the winery continues to expand its portfolio of nationally distributed Bordeaux varietal wines.

“Epic is a great fit for our winery,” says owner Tom Gamble. “We’re thrilled to partner with a distributor that under Bill Foley’s dynamic leadership is recommitted to building its reputation for excellence, with a long history of establishing and growing key relationships in the California market.”

Gamble Family Vineyards’ Rosé ($20), Gamble Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc ($25), Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($50) and Paramount Proprietary Red Blend ($90) are available in national distribution.

About Gamble Family Vineyards:

Founded by third-generation farmer Tom Gamble in 2005, Gamble Family Vineyards farms approximately 175 acres of prime estate vineyards from many of Napa’s most respected AVAs—Oakville, Mt. Veeder, Rutherford and Yountville. Its winery and by-invitation-only tasting room have a quiet presence, sitting modestly in an isolated nook off Highway 29 in the heart of Napa Valley’s Oakville AVA. Set back from the main road, Gamble’s mission here is to carry on the heritage of farming that his ancestors sowed when they came to Napa as farmers in 1916. With a primary focus on Bordeaux varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, all of Gamble Family Vineyards’ wines are produced in small quantities, with careful attention to farming. Winemaker Jim Close has been with Gamble Family Vineyards since its inception.
