Cliff Lede Vineyards opens “The Art of Grace Slick”

Cliff Lede Vineyards is pleased to announce the next art display in the winery’s Backstage Reserve Lounge: “The Art of Grace Slick,” which will run through July 4th. Slick is widely known as one of the first seminal female rockers in rock ‘n’ roll history for her work with Jefferson Airplane. In 1996, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. With portraits of her rock contemporaries, this visual concert embodies the high energy of the music Slick produced in the late ‘60s. Her Wonderland works are vibrant visuals of the song she wrote and sang, White Rabbit.

Cliff Lede’s Backstage Reserve Lounge is the VIP experience for visitors to the winery’s tasting room located in the heart of Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District. Backstage holds an exclusive and extraordinary line-up of rotating classic rock inspired art exhibits, most recently with art from the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia, and from rock poster artist Stanley Mouse. Backstage is open Thursday-Sunday, 10:00am-3:00pm (May) and Thursday-Monday, 10:00am-3:00pm (June & July), by appointment only. Backstage tastings are $50 per person, and feature a selection of five wines from Lede Family Wines’ FEL Wines and Cliff Lede Vineyards, including some limited production and library wines. Appointments can be made by contacting the guest concierge at (707) 944-8642 or info@ledefamilywines.com.

About Cliff Lede Vineyards:
Cliff Lede Vineyards was established in 2002 when Cliff Lede purchased 60 acres in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. Since then, Lede has successfully combined estate vineyards, winemaking, art, music, and architecture into one of Napa Valley’s most modern and diversified estates. With a focus on producing wines from estate vineyards, Lede tapped viticulturist David Abreu to replant his vineyards. In 2012, Cliff brought on Christopher Tynan as winemaker, and Remi Cohen as vice president and general manager. The full array of wines includes: Sauvignon Blanc, Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, Stardust Heaven Cabernet Sauvignon, Songbook Cabernet Sauvignon, Poetry Cabernet Sauvignon, Beckstoffer To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon, and others that are only offered to wine club members.
