Frank Family Vineyards expands sales force with the hiring of Ken Doyle as eastern regional manager
Frank Family Vineyards is expanding its sales team with the hiring of Ken Doyle as eastern regional manager. The new position is being created to enhance the winery’s presence in the New York metropolitan area and to complement work with Vice President of National Sales, Scott Lloyd.
A Napa Valley-based producer, Frank Family Vineyards was founded in 1992 and has gradually increased its vineyard holdings to over 380 acres, primarily in Rutherford and Carneros. This fall, Rich Frank announced the purchase of 87 acres of premium vineyard land in the Rutherford AVA, with plans to steadily increase production. “We already have a popular tasting room and an exceptional winemaker, Todd Graff,” says Frank. “To assure quality at every level, we are focusing on putting our profits back into buying great vineyards,” he says.
A New Jersey native, Doyle brings vast experience in East Coast wine sales to the company having most recently served as a Manhattan sales representative for Martin Scott Wines where he was responsible for the growth of on-premise accounts. He previously worked with importer and distributor VOS Selections as the New York and New Jersey representative, and with Lauber Imports as a regional sales associate for its international portfolios. Doyle’s entry to wine sales started in 1998 as a sales representative with Wine Warehouse in Los Angeles.
