Frank Family Vineyards Promotes Liam Gearity as Director of Direct-to-Consumer Sales and Hospitality and Zahava Kraiser as Tasting Room Manager
|(April 17, 2017; Calistoga, Calif.)—Rich and Leslie Frank, owners of Frank Family Vineyards, along with Winemaker and General Manager Todd Graff, are pleased to announce that Liam Gearity has been promoted to Director of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Sales and Hospitality, and long time tasting room employee Zahava Kraiser has been promoted to the role of Tasting Room Manager.
A veteran of the restaurant hospitality industry, Liam Gearity has held long-term leadership positions at high-end restaurants in New York and Los Angeles, two of the nation’s most fast-paced hospitality markets. Liam first met Rich and Leslie Frank in 2011 while working as head bartender and wine and spirits buyer for Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. The three quickly developed a friendship and bonded over a shared passion for quality wine and a commitment to hospitality. After experiencing firsthand Liam’s work at Wolfgang’s and his commitment to creating positive guest experiences, Rich and Leslie offered Liam a sales position at Frank Family’s tasting room. Liam relocated from Los Angeles to Napa in 2015 to work with the Franks and quickly established himself as a leader. In his new role as Director of DTC Sales and Hospitality, Liam oversees all divisions of Frank Family’s tasting room, wine club, and events departments, and works continuously to elevate Frank Family’s hospitality-driven tasting experiences.
“Liam is a natural born leader and has made an immeasurable impact at Frank Family in a very short period of time,” says Todd Graff. “He is constantly striving to improve existing winery programs and nurtures a positive environment which he extends to all staff and visitors.”
Zahava first visited Frank Family Vineyards for a wine tasting with friends in 2010 after moving from Boston to Napa. “I visited for a tasting with Dennis Zablosky, Frank Family’s longtime tasting room manager, and I loved it so much that I never left,” says Zahava. A former employee of Hewlett-Packard, Zahava strongly identified with Frank Family’s focus on hospitality and customer service, and began working as a sales associate in the tasting room shortly after her visit. Over the last seven years, she has worked her way up from sales associate, to assistant tasting room manager, before being promoted to tasting room manager. In her new role, Zahava oversees everything from employee scheduling to inventory, and makes sure the tasting room runs smoothly day in and day out. Her goal is to showcase Frank Family’s wines while ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied.
“Over the last few years, Zahava and Liam have proven to be essential in extending our focus on hospitality to every visitor to Frank Family,” says Rich Frank. “We’re thrilled to have them as part of our family.”
