Inman Family Wines “Endless Crush®” Rosé of Pinot Noir gets a new look and national distribution
Inman Family Wines Winemaker and GM Kathleen Inman today revealed her new labels for the 2012 “Endless Crush®” rosé, along with plans to distribute the wine nationally beginning this April at a new and lower suggested retail price of $22. The “Endless Crush®” rosé is made in a dry style, from organically grown Pinot Noir grapes from the Inman Olivet Grange Vineyard located in the Russian River Valley.
Inman, who prides herself in making honest and natural wines from the Russian River Valley appellation, notes that this is “an intentional rosé, as opposed to a rosé that is made “saignee” with run-off juice from red wines.” Saignee rosés often require water and acid additions to lower alcohol and brighten the wines.
“The new price is a big deal and was very hard for me to pull off,” says Kathleen Inman. “The wine is made with organically-farmed Russian River Valley Pinot Noir from our estate and offers incredible value. I make this wine because I love it and want others to have the same pleasure. It also gives wine lovers an entry to my portfolio of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.” Sommeliers in Las Vegas have already taken note of the wine and it will be poured by the glass poolside at the Cosmopolitan, and also available at the Vesper, Bond, Chandelier and Overlook Grill this spring.
Adorned with an illustration of a Yorkshire rose, the new packing, created by Ellen Riendeau of Soda Rock Studios, pays homage to Inman’s original storybook romance and the “Endless Crush®” inspiration: her husband Simon. In 2004, she created the wine as a gift to him in honor of their 20th wedding anniversary. The highly embossed botanical image keeps with Inman’s dedication to “eco-ethics,” and is made with no foils and only water based inks.
